Global surface temperature increased 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.33 ± 0.32 °F)during the last century. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes that increasing greenhouse gas concentrations resulting from human activity such as fossil fuel burning and deforestation are responsible for most of the observed temperature increase since the middle of the 20th century. The IPCC also concludes that natural phenomena such as solar variation and volcanoes produced most of the warming from pre-industrial times to 1950 and had a small cooling effect afterward. Stamps Of USA - The First US Postage Stamps In the year 1902, about 65 years after Queen Victoria appears on British stamps, and 55 years after the first U.S. postage stamp issued, 8-cent Martha Washington was the first US stamp to feature a woman. Stamp with the image Mrs. Washington was first introduced when the United States began to recognize the importance of woman's contribution to the community. Although women at that time have not the right to vote, suffrage movement is the main conversation topic. US postage stamp also indicates that the development time, the difference in rights between men and women are missing.
